Spring is here so I start my 30day Mind and Body Detox Challenge #Detox
A 30 Day Mind & Body Detox Challenge.
Spring has sprung in NSW Australia both in
the yellow canola and green rolling hills of the farm and across the warm sands
of Bronte Beach in Sydney. Our life continues to flow between city and country
living as we follow our teenage daughters about, run the farm business
delivering produce, meeting city clients and maintain bookwork. Howard focuses
on stock care and keeping the crops healthy pre harvest, while I turn my
attention to teaching yoga and meditation privately.
It is a busy life on paper but it doesn’t
feel busy because something is working well. There is a balance we have found
for each member of our family of 6. It feels like we are being considerate of
each other’s needs as we juggle Saturday morning sport, meeting with friends,
having fun, achieving our individual goals and maintaining our businesses,
school work and careers.
I have worked on the new web Blissfully
Present site for a couple of months with Sydney
Logos and they did a great job assisting me in clearly expressing what I offer.
Photos are taken, logos, flyers and business cards are designed, professional
audio recordings are made and I sit down to write eCourses and programs. (www.blissfullypresent.com.au)
Then Spring suddenly appears and I find
myself lying out on Bronte Beach with the girls, the Sunday papers and a
coffee. I have practiced yoga every day throughout winter and walk 4 days a
week but it is quite steady and relaxed program. I feel so happy I could jump out of my skin.
On the farm and in wide-open spaces one week, enjoying the beaches another.
Private yoga coaching bookings start coming
in and I run a few workshops in Sydney and Young. It is all flowing well but I
know this is preparation for a big 2016. I am aware that if I am to maintain
the workload of both businesses and family life; fitness, enthusiasm and
healthy relationships are going to be essential.
I decide to start a 30 day detox that is
not just for my body but for my mind as well. I write down every idea that has
ever made my food feel energetic and light, I write affirmations, intentions,
guidelines and goals. Basically I will be practicing 20 minutes of more
strenuous exercise each day, eating fresh foods, practicing 12 Mindful Living
Strategies to detox my mind and setting daily intentions.
Email me at nel@blissfullypresent.com.au if
you would like a copy of the Blissfully Present Detox Challenge and to receive
my monthly newsletter. I would also love you to send me some questions about yoga, mindfulness or meditation and I can post them on the web blog so everyone benefits.(let me know if your first name and location is Ok to include)
Happy detoxing!
